Recreational Boating and the marina environment should be safe, and fun. The MarinaVillage mobile safety app addresses both, enhancing communications within the marina community in the process. Emergency “Alerts” are sent simultaneously to 911, to marina staff and to adjacent boaters, facilitating the fastest possible response, with mapped location, and other actionable information. At-your-fingertip information resources are provided for boating safety, regulations, weather and more. Easy text communications between boaters and marina staff are facilitated, as well as special task-related channel communications for marina operations. On the “fun” side, boaters can digitally tour most of the marinas on both coasts of the US and view entertaining videos about items of interest around various marinas. They can also set up social chat groups for important messages like – “There will be a dock party on C Dock this coming Saturday”. And there is lots more!!
