With over 25 years experience as a qualified and professionally licensed coastal/marina engineer and over 30 years experience engaged in the marina industry, Mr. Goshow is an accomplished and well-respected professional within the industry, both domestically and abroad.
Mr. Goshow’s expertise covers all facets of marina, waterfront, coastal, and port-related development with services spanning from due diligence/condition assessments through to construction and operations. His work experience includes floating and fixed docks, bulkheads and quay walls, rubble mound breakwaters, groins and revetments, floating attenuators, navigation and dredging, and beach fill works, among many others. He is comfortable applying his expertise in all site regimes, including open ocean, coastal, bays and lake locations. Mr. Goshow has worked with over 14 domestic and international dock manufacturers, including steel-framed, aluminum framed, wood-framed and concrete floating dock products as well as developing custom fabrication plans for floating docks and wave attenuators.
Mr. Goshow’s coastal/marina engineering experience is further complimented by his coastal modeling expertise, which covers an extensive portfolio of hydrodynamic, wave, sediment transport, and water quality modeling in support of coastal, marina and EIA projects. He has worked with USACE and leading European modeling packages and regularly conducts met-ocean field data collection exercises in support of his numerical modeling studies.
Mr. Goshow serves as Principal and Owner of International Waterfront Consultants LLC. Prior to establishing his own engineering consulting firm in 2009, Mr. Goshow worked for a variety of leading port/marina/coastal engineering firms, both in the US and in the Middle East, holding various executive and engineering management positions. Mr. Goshow has authored and co-authored several conference papers and presentations within the coastal infrastructure and marina development industries.
Last but not least, Mr. Goshow is an avid surfer and beach volleyball player.
