A two-time venture capital-raising tech entrepreneur, Valvo has an enviable talent: the ability to recognize industry gaps and to solve for the “why-can’t-we-just-do-x” problems in it. She creates dynamic companies that make people quit other jobs and move locations just to work for her – and it’s not for the cool offices, free snacks, and ping pong tables (her most recent venture’s employees work remotely from around the globe!).

Always reaching out to help others, Leonora has served on the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute Operations
Board, as a Mentor through the Venture Mentoring Service (an MIT initiative), and on the Economic
Development Advisory Board in Warren, RI. She currently volunteers on the Board of the Marine Recreation Association and the Ventura Visitors and Convention Bureau.
