Brad has worked at Moffatt & Nichol for 25 years as an engineer managing the design of waterfront projects. His projects have included Crissy Field in San Francisco, renovation of marinas including Sacramento, Stockton, Oyster Point, Pillar Point, design of piers including San Simeon, Capitola, Santa Cruz, Redwood City and Alcatraz Island. Many of these facilities are historic structures or sites. He has been an active member of the California Association of Harbor Masters and Port Captains since 1998. He enlisted in the US Coast Guard on active duty from 1974-78. Following active duty, he graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1985 with a Master’s Degree in Coastal Engineering, He retired from the Coast Guard Reserve after 35 years at the rank of Commander.
