Deborah Holmes has been with California State Parks, Division of Boating and Waterways since June 2019 and serves as a Staff Services Manager I in the Grants and Loans Unit. The unit administers 13 different programs all focused on providing safe recreational boating opportunities in California. Ms. Holmes’ professional career includes earning a master’s degree in public administration and more than 25 years of public administration experience gained in the non-profit, local, and state government sectors. Ms. Holmes lives in Sacramento, and her favorite recreational activities include exploring parks, visiting coastal towns, and spending summer days out on the water.
