Jack Malone is a Senior Managing Scientist with 20 years of experience with waterfront development projects. He has been with Anchor QEA since 2009, focusing on coastal projects in southern and central California. Prior to joining Anchor QEA, Jack was a project manager in the Regulatory Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District.

Jack specializes in biological and coastal resources, permitting and regulation, and preparation of state and federal environmental documents related to waterfront development and coastal infrastructure. He has extensive experience working with owners and engineers to address sea level rise and coastal hazards for waterfront renovation and development projects.

He also has expertise with development and implementation of habitat mitigation and monitoring plans, mitigation banks, biological assessments, and biological resources studies, as well as resource agency consultations and negotiations in support of waterfront projects.
