Mr. Andrew Bleier is serving as a third-generation owner/operator of KECO Pump & Equipment. With a proven background in engineering, software development, and electrical systems, he plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and business operations within the marine and industrial sectors.
One of Mr. Bleier's most notable accomplishments is his role in the development of KECO's flagship 900 series peristaltic PumpOut systems, first introduced to the marine market in 2000. KECO’s PumpOut systems set the industry benchmark for performance and reliability.
In the past three years, Mr. Bleier has taken on the challenging task of redeveloping the Marina Trash Skimmer. This ambitious project involved a comprehensive overhaul which resulted in the removal of over 50% of the manufacturing components and an astounding 80% improvement in efficiency.
Mr. Bleier's expertise extends beyond mechanical systems; he is presently focused on developing and patenting a universal motor drive and interface used for high pressure chemical dosing. By integrating modern software driven control with proven mechanical equipment, this industry’s first assembly is intended to bring new life to aging infrastructure assets at a fraction of the cost of replacement. This forward-looking approach ensures that KECO remains at the forefront of technological advancements within all sectors of the industries it serves.
Growing up in southern California has given Mr. Bleier extensive on-water experience in both sail and power boating. This firsthand knowledge of the marine environment provides the basis for creating solutions engineered to meet the demands of these harsh environments.
In addition to his professional commitments, Mr. Bleier is involved in the community. He is actively engaged in youth baseball and dedicates his time to coaching several of his three children's sports teams. This commitment to mentoring and shaping young minds reflects his values of leadership, teamwork, and community involvement.
