Chad Taylor has been a Las Vegas local for 26 years and has spent most of his life on the water, winning his first fishing tackle box at just 8 years old in a female swimsuit competition. He has spent his whole life on the water whether it was surfing, boating, swimming, or fishing. Nicknamed “Shad” by the one and only Merle Haggard who said, “he was constantly darting around the docks underwater,” Chad comes by his love for water honest. His father has been in the marina business since before he was born.
Chad began working at the lakes early on in childhood from Shasta to the delta and ending up in Vegas. While he held many jobs at the lake, he also has been an entrepreneur for all his adult life owning a printing company (24 Hour Poster), a transportation company (Experience Transport Agency), and a mentor/clothing company (Mentor Empire). Currently he is working at Guest Services, Inc where he has been for the past 6 years. He spent his first three years as General Manager for Willow Beach Marina and the past three years as the Director of Marketing and Guest Experience for Lake Mead Mohave Adventures.
